π Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our school's technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to staff and students, maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT infrastructure within the school.
π― Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff and students on hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and other devices
- Maintain and monitor school network systems, internet connectivity, and classroom technologies
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights in coordination with IT policies
- Ensure proper maintenance of school IT inventory and documentation
- Assist in managing the school's Learning Management System (LMS) and EdTech tools
- Support online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital classrooms
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing and software licensing
π Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in an educational institution
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Google Workspace, networking basics
- Familiarity with school MIS or LMS platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
