Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in mathematics. The ideal candidate should be skilled in engaging students, fostering critical thinking, and helping learners develop a solid foundation in mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
• Teach mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, statistics, and/or calculus depending on grade level.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and resources to meet students’ varying needs and abilities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
• Encourage student participation and create a positive classroom learning environment.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
• Participate in professional development and stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and curriculum standards.
• Support extracurricular activities related to mathematics such as math clubs, competitions, and enrichment programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license (as per local educational authority requirements).
• Proven teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong command of mathematical concepts and teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Familiarity with modern educational tools and technologies (e.g., smart boards, learning management systems).
• Classroom management skills and adaptability to diverse learning needs.
