Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in mathematics. The ideal candidate should be skilled in engaging students, fostering critical thinking, and helping learners develop a solid foundation in mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Teach mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, statistics, and/or calculus depending on grade level.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and resources to meet students’ varying needs and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
- Encourage student participation and create a positive classroom learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
- Participate in professional development and stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and curriculum standards.
- Support extracurricular activities related to mathematics such as math clubs, competitions, and enrichment programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification/license (as per local educational authority requirements).
- Proven teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Familiarity with modern educational tools and technologies (e.g., smart boards, learning management systems).
- Classroom management skills and adaptability to diverse learning needs.
Preferred Skills:
