We are now seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Arts to join our talented teaching community.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Arts, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across a range of visual art disciplines (e.g. painting, drawing, sculpture, digital media).
- Encourage creative exploration and critical thinking among students from Years [insert year levels].
- Assess student work in alignment with the Australian Curriculum – The Arts.
- Organize exhibitions, art displays, and collaborative projects.
- Contribute to the broader school culture and participate in professional learning activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Current teacher registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant state/territory authority (e.g. NESA, VIT, QCT, TRBWA, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire creativity and confidence in young learners.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with contemporary art practices and digital art tools will be an advantage.
