About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coach to plan and deliver engaging training sessions, develop athletes' skills, and promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The successful candidate will create a positive and inclusive sporting environment while supporting participants to achieve their individual and team goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured training sessions and sporting activities.

• Develop and improve participants' technical and physical skills.

• Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback.

• Organise and supervise practices, competitions, and sporting events.

• Monitor participant performance and track development.

• Promote teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.

• Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and inclusive environment.

• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff.

• Maintain appropriate records of attendance and performance.

• Follow relevant health, safety, and safeguarding policies.

About You

• Relevant coaching qualification or certification.

• Previous experience in sports coaching or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and sporting practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire participants.

• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

• Commitment to participant safety and wellbeing.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.

• Working with Children Check or equivalent clearance, where required.
